Historical Home, Pennsylvania

This Historical Home in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania was built in 1883 and has been lovingly restored to its original condition by its owners.

The owners discovered our dehydration technology in a preservation magazine ad and reached out to us. After pouring whatever it took in terms of time, money, and energy to bring this gorgeous post-Civil War era home back to life, they found out the hard way that you cannot just cover up wet masonry walls. All the newly applied concrete plaster immediately began to crack and crumble, the paint blistered and bubbled, and all their hard work went up in frustration. RENODRY installed a unit that gently released all the excess moisture trapped behind the new plaster. Now the house is dry, and the new repairs will last. It will be the last time they have to replaster their basement walls.
